ARTISTS
Jane Osypenko
Jane graduated from Art University in 2003 and she is an experienced Art teacher who has been working with students of all ages ever since. Originally from Ukraine, Jane has been living in Sydney for 7 years now and has completely fallen in love with the amazing Australian nature. She loves to incorporate the beauty of the outdoors into her artwork and encourages her students to do the same.

She loves to paint with oil on canvas, acrylics, watercolors, and pretty much any other medium you can think of! But the thing that really sets Jane apart is how excited she gets to see her students' happy faces and their amazing results after every class. It's clear that art is her passion, and she loves nothing more than inspiring others to discover their own creative talents.

Title or Location: Portrait of a country woman
The woman stands tall amidst the sweeping golden fields of wheat, her weathered face a testament to years of hard labor beneath the sun. Her skin, bronzed by the endless days in the open air, carries the deep lines of experience and resilience. Despite the evident fatigue etched into her features, there is a quiet strength in her posture, a silent defiance against the harsh elements of nature that she?s come to know so intimately.

Title or Location: A Visit from Great Grandfather
My father was a gentle soul who loved his garden, and he took great joy in watching all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren exploring and playing among the flowers. He was always exceptionally good at soothing fretful babies, and toddler's tantrums. He died many years ago, but I do like to imagine that he's watching us all and making special visits to meet his new great grandchilden.Watercolour on Fabriano Artistico. Hot Press.

An apparently unloved old fishing boat, normally they?re decorated in beautiful bright colours. Retired and forgotten, I thought I?d attempt to breathe a little more life into this lovely old boat! From a photo taken years ago whilst on holiday in the Algarve. I took the picture with a view to painting it at some point and finally got round to it a year or so ago. Title or Location: The Boat at the Shelly Rossmoyne foreshore park.
When days stretch long and sunsets occur late, I indulge in leisurely walks at the Shelly Rossmoyne foreshore park situated adjacent to the Canning river in Perth, WA. Although the broad vista of the Canning river, boats, and setting sun is certainly a pleasure, I find greater enjoyment in discovering secluded spots by peering through the trees that flank the path. Occasionally I get the opportunity to glimpse birds perched on branches but this particular boat has consistently been moored there,
