Jane Osypenko
Jane graduated from Art University in 2003 and she is an experienced Art teacher who has been working with students of all ages ever since. Originally from Ukraine, Jane has been living in Sydney for 7 years now and has completely fallen in love with the amazing Australian nature. She loves to incorporate the beauty of the outdoors into her artwork and encourages her students to do the same.

She loves to paint with oil on canvas, acrylics, watercolors, and pretty much any other medium you can think of! But the thing that really sets Jane apart is how excited she gets to see her students' happy faces and their amazing results after every class. It's clear that art is her passion, and she loves nothing more than inspiring others to discover their own creative talents.

Title or Location: Portrait of a country woman
The woman stands tall amidst the sweeping golden fields of wheat, her weathered face a testament to years of hard labor beneath the sun. Her skin, bronzed by the endless days in the open air, carries the deep lines of experience and resilience. Despite the evident fatigue etched into her features, there is a quiet strength in her posture, a silent defiance against the harsh elements of nature that she?s come to know so intimately.

This painting was done with various brands of watercolor on Arches cold press. The reason behind it is healing so if you notice, the heart and roses in the back look decomposed while the rose in front of the top of the heart are coming back to life.

This young woman was waiting for a ceremony to begin that I was attending. She lives in West Africa and was wearing a string of random beads that my African friends prefer.
